Why do a DISC personality assessment?
Understanding your personality design and that of others offers great insight into how to better relate with, and live at peace with, family members, friends and co-workers. Plus, it's fun!
We offer two types of personality assessments:
Basic: using a light-hearted but illuminating quiz developed by Beth Beutler, this is great for families, small organizations who want to do a simple personality exercise. $5.99 for a download for use by one person; $10.99 for permission to copy for up to 20 people. (For larger group use, please contact Beth directly.) The quiz includes some faith-flavored questions and should not be considered a scientific instrument.
NOTE: The basic personality quiz (for individual use) is an included benefit of our HOPE Online Member Resource Center, which you can join for a voluntary payment of any amount! Click here for details.
Extensive: using a scientific instrument developed by a reputable third party, this assessment provides a several-page report outlining the individual's behavioral tendencies and tips for managing and communicating with them. Investment: HOPE Online Center Member - $60 for assessment alone; $100 for assessment and 15-30 minute debriefing by phone or Skype. Please obtain discount code from us before ordering.
Non-members: $80 for assessment alone; $130 for assessment and 15-30 minute debriefing by phone or Skype.
If you desire a longer, or in-person, debriefing rather than using the phone or Skype, we can provide you an estimate for additional billing (beyond the amounts mentioned above) based on meeting place, travel time, and extended time that naturally occurs an in-person meeting. Once you approve this, the in-person meeting will be scheduled, and the remaining balance will be due at the meeting.

A word of caution for Christians...
While we believe these assessments can be very valuable, some biblical individuals believe that such things are not necessary nor recommended for Christians. We respect that point of view should it concern you, and we'd like you to know our position.
We look at these assessments as tools for understanding with the full acceptance that no human-inspired tool is completely infallible. We do not advocate using the results to constantly label oneself or others, certainly not to berate oneself or others, to excuse poor or sinful behavior, or to supercede any biblical principles of living and relating with others.
We do however, believe that like many tools available to us today--examples such as the Internet, medical and academic testing, career and skills assessments, inspirational books, the arts, spiritual gifts assessments etc.--the personality assessment can be used for good when considered in proper relationship to God and the Bible. These tools, like the ones mentioned above, do not replace the Bible, nor do we see any specific Scriptures that mention them (just like there are no Scriptures specifically mentioning the other tools listed above.) We do believe that the Bible teaches us to relate well with others, and we believe that proper use of these assessments can be helpful in that committment, just like, for example, using the Internet or the arts can be helpful to communicate biblical truth.
